Our Mission and Vision
Behind the Scenes
Africa's capacity to compete globally hinges on embracing innovative technologies and advancing research output. Our research shows that approximately 90% of women in science never had the opportunity to engage with research during their college years.
This insight led to the creation of the African Research Academy for Women (ARA-W), enabling exceptional African undergraduate women to conduct research at prestigious institutions like the University of Ghana's Noguchi Medical Research Institute.
